A restaurant has been left gutted by a fire in Glasgow’s south side.
The Kebabish curry house on Victoria Street in the Govanhill area was engulfed by flames yesterday afternoon.
Houses were evacuated in the surrounding area, with some residents having to be rescued through the windows of their homes by firefighters using ladders.
It is believed the blaze started from the kitchen of the property but quickly spread and reached the flats above the restaurant.
One man and a woman were treated for injuries at the scene.
