It is believed the English Defence League will no longer hold a demonstration in Bradford on Saturday, 2 September.
The far-right group will still be holding a rally in Keighley on the same day at around 1.00pm. They had announced they were to move on to Bradford for 3.00pm but police have confirmed they will no longer visit the city centre.
It is understood counter protests had been arranged to meet the EDL at both locations and they are still likely to take place at Keighley.
