Officers are examining CCTV footage after an ATM was destroyed.
The hunt for the cash machine raiders who blew up a post office in Baildon has begun.
The offenders used an improvised gas bomb to destroy the ATM in the early hours of Friday (29th April).
Although residents and traders have been allowed to return to the small parade of shops in Higher Coach Road, the shop frontage of the Post Office and its rear door and windows have been covered with emergency steel shutters.
At around 4am on Friday morning, a mix of industrial gas and oxygen is thought to have been piped into the ATM machine and then ignited, devastating ground floor property.
A Post Office Spokesman said it was not yet known when the Post Office will reopen.
Anyone with information regarding the raid is asked to call Bradford District CID on 101 or call the independent charity, Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
