A project to promote a love of reading and help improve literacy levels in Keighley will culminate in a family celebration day at Cliffe Castle Museum and Park.

The Keighley Links Literacy Festival, which has been funded through the Birth to 19 Teaching School Alliance, follows on from Bradford Council’s ‘Time Capsule’ and ‘Keighley’s Christmas Carol’ events.

Keighley Links is a collaboration between four primary schools across the area; Riddlesden St Mary’s CE Primary, Ingrow Primary, Long Lee Primary and St Andrew’s CE Primary.

The partnership works as a means to share ideas, best practice and in the case of the festival, create a memorable experience for every one of the schools’ 2,000+ children.
