A child has been hospitalised with life changing injuries after a collision in Oldham.
At around 6.10pm on Wednesday 9 August, police were called to Princess Road to reports of a collision involving a Vauxhall Astra and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 10-year-old-girl, was riding her scooter home from Princess Park.
Princess Road was closed for three hours whilst emergency services worked at the scene.
Princess Park was also secured by officers to allow the air ambulance to land.
The girl suffered multiple injuries and was taken to hospital for surgery, where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the car was not injured and remained at the scene to speak with officers.
No arrests have been made.
