A Bradford woman who bombarded a married man with vile racist and abusive texts, turning up at his home, gym and work five months after their illicit relationship ended has been spared an immediate custodial sentence.
Bradford Crown Court heard that 34 year old Amreen Mahmood would send the man up to 100 text messages a day, turning up at his home that he shared with his wife and children, workplace and gym, used racist, abusive language and made threats.
Mahmood, of Myers Close, Idle, Bradford, pleaded guilty to stalking involving serious alarm or distress and was sentenced to a ten-month prison sentence suspended for two years.
The judge in the case also made a restraining order, a four-month curfew order and a 30-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
