Residents of Bradford are to be offered more appointments with GPs due to a new extended hours service.
Nearly 1,000 extra appointments will be made available by next year for people registered with Bradford GPs, according to the local clinical commissioning group.
As part of its plans, the group will shut its former walk-in service at Hillside Bridge Health Centre in Barkerend in May to replace it with a new extended hours service at Westbourne Green Health Centre in Manningham.
By April of next year, half the population of the city will have access to the extended hours service. It is expected to be fully operational for everyone by October 2018.
