Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery on Standiforth Lane, Huddersfield on Sunday 31 January.
The incident happened at 1230pm when the victim was walking along the road when he was approached by two men.
They then grabbed his bag before the victim pulled the bag back. One of the men then produced a knife and the victim ran off. The victim kept his bag.
Officers want to speak to two men in connection with the incident.
The first is described as aged between 18 and 25 and wearing a light grey coloured Nike hooded top which was plain except for the branding.
The second is also described as aged between 18 and 25 and wearing denim jeans with elasticated bottoms.
Both men are described as black.
