Police are appealing for information following an attempted robbery at a newsagents in Batley.
The incident happened on Tuesday 13 February at around 7.00pm at the Local Express store on Common Road in Staincliffe.
Two male suspects entered the shop and demanded money from the shopkeeper.
The victim refused and the first suspect hit a brick on the counter top.
Both suspects left the store on foot and nothing was taken from the premises.
One of the suspects is described as having an Asian accent.
