A woman was struck with a crow bar during an armed robbery at a Morrisons in Rochdale.
Shortly before 9.10pm on Tuesday 15 August, police were called to reports of an armed robbery at the store on Dawson Street, Heywood.
Two men armed with crow bars tried to force open two tills when they were approached by a member of staff.
One man fled as the shop worker challenged them whilst the other man proceeded to hit the woman on the arm with his weapon before fleeing.
The robbers left the store empty handed.
The woman suffered a minor injury to her arm.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information to get in touch.
