Masked and armed men robbed a post office in Bramley.
At 9.37am on Wednesday, 27 September, police received a report of a robbery at Bramstam Post Office, on Summerfield Drive, Bramley.
Three masked men who were armed with metal bars entered the premises and threatened staff and customers.
They stole the till from the counter and a quantity of cigarettes before leaving the scene in a black Peugeot 207.
At 9.43am police received a report of a car being set on fire by three masked males near to the Abbey Inn public house on Pollard Lane. It is believed the men ran off along the canal.
Officers searched the area and found the till dumped near to Newlay Locks.
