Police are wanting to speak with Abbas Lajadj regarding failure to comply with a court order under the Sexual Offences Act 2003

Police are wanting to speak with Abbas Lajadj regarding failure to comply with a court order under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

Lajadj, who also goes by the name of Yousef Abbas Leone and is 39 years old, was made subject of this order when he was convicted in 2012 of a sexual assault in London, for which he was given a suspended sentence.

He was thought to be living in Bradford up until December 2018, when he told police he had moved to an address in Manchester.

Subsequent enquiries there and in Bradford have failed to locate him.

However, extensive enquiries by police and partners suggest Lajadj/Leone, who is also wanted on warrant for failing to attend appointments with the Probation service, is still living in Bradford.

Anyone with information which may assist police is asked to call 101, or use the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.

Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers.
