Police are appealing for information after gunshots were heard on a Manchester street.
Shortly before 4.40pm on Tuesday 5 March, police were called to reports of gunshots on Rudd Street in Moston.
Witnesses reported seeing an altercation between two groups around the time the gunshots were heard.
Officers attended however the group had dispersed prior to their arrival.
No one is believed to have been injured and no damage was caused to any premises.
Detective Inspector Tony Platten, of GMP’s City of Manchester division, said: “We are working to establish the full circumstances of what happened and trace those involved.
“We know the answers lie within the community, and if you saw anything suspicious then please do the right thing and get in touch with us.
“There will be extra patrols in the area in the coming days, and if residents have any worries or concerns then do approach our officers.”
